Paul Viswasam

Honorary Pastor

As a founding pastor of Tamil Christian Church (TCC) he continues to provide pulpit help as its honorary pastor. Pastor Paul has been in the ministry for 40 years, as a Southern Baptist Pastor he serves at Crosspoint Church, also serves on a few National & International mission boards. Married to Chelly for 40 years and they live in savage, MD. They are blessed with two children: Daughter Sharmila, a business woman, lives in Frederick county.MD and Son Sam, a US marine, lives at home in Howard county, MD. Pastor Paul says the driving force in his ministry is the motto of the first Baptist Missionary to India, William Carey, “Expect Great Things from God and Attempt Great Things for God.”

Justin Nathaniel

Senior Pastor

Pastor, s/o Rev. Dr. Ambrose Samuel Nathaniel had his education from St. Joseph College HS and Bishop Heber College, Puthur, Trichy and did his Masters (English Litt.) in Annamalai University .   He was also honored with Doctor of Divinity.  He did the Theological course in TTS, Madurai and also in the Lancaster Theological Seminary, PA, USA .

Served as Youth minister in Royapuram Lutheran Church . Trained in Carnatic music by taking courses from Tamil Nadu Theological  Seminary conducted by Sangeetha Booshnam Swamikannu and  Dr. D. A. Dhanapandian in 1978.  He has performed kalatchebam in many Churches in Chennai , Bangalore  so on.

Served as Assistant Pastor in the Emmanuel Church, Chennai, and Tamil Christhava Koil, NY. Served as Pastor in the Bethel Tamil Church United Church of Christ (1995-2000) in Baltimore.

Now as the senior Pastor in the TCC from 2000. Pastor Justin Nathaniel is blessed with a wonderful wife Ruby Justin and three children Ebenesar Justin, Grace Justin and Jacob Justin.  The oldest Son Ebenesar is married to Sarah, and they are blessed with 2 children Ruth Shekinah Justin & Samuel Isaac Justin.   Prior to the Lord’s ministry Pastor Justin was in the Govt. ministry in Chennai Port Trust for more than 17 years.  Pastor Justin holds the ministerial standing in the United Church of Christ, Central Atlantic Conference.
